26 March 2013 - This test is based on a device called an E-Cat whose objective is to generate heat within the reactor through a reaction between nickel powder and pressurized hydrogen , besides the presence of catalysts still unknown. The
E-Cat model used for this test is approximately 50 x 60 x 35cms.The operation of the E-Cat would be as follows: thanks to a
peristaltic pump, water is introduced into the E-Cat, it is heated
to the boiling point. The steam leaving the E-Cat an insulated hose runs up to a heat
exchanger where it is cooled and condensed as a secondary circuit heating water. The water has cooled the result of condensation is driven by a hose to the drain.
